Overdraft protection is an option whereby we transfer available funds from your share savings account to prevent check, ATM, or debit card transactions, etc. from causing your account balance to fall below zero, and prevent a fee assessed to your account.
A wire transfer is when money is transferred electronically from one financial institution to another. Wires can be done in person at a branch location or by fax. If done by fax, a phone call verification is done. (The phone number must match what’s on your account.) Funds can be wired in or out of Tri Boro for a fee. Please see fee schedule.
